Critter City

I decided I needed to add a little photo variety. Too much snow! Here is Morgyn and our new guinia pig, "Rudolph" (Morgyn named him) I brought him and the spotted rabbit home from a rabbit show I went to on January 19th. Rudolph is only 4 weeks old and he and Morgyns hamster now live together and are buddies. He is so cute and makes lot of squeeking sounds when he is happy. The spotted rabbit is another addition to my growing rabbitry. I now have 5 does and a buck. They are all the Rex breed and I'm raising litters for meat! Yes, rabbit meat is delicious and healthy. The last litter of babies was handled alot by Morgyn who would bring one in the house on most days, to play with.

The goats really hate the snow and really only venture out to make the walk to their water trough. I have to keep the path shoveled because they won't get their dainty little feet wet if they can help it. From left to right in the photo is: Taboo (drinking), Winter, Rodeo and Honey. Honey is the only non-Nubian on the place. Babies will be here soon, probably within two weeks.
